BACKWATERS OF KERALA :  According to a legend, Parashuram threw his axe across the Arabian sea and thus emerged the strip of land called KERALA. The extensive network of canals filled with backwaters and lakes make kerala unique in its kind. These lakes come alive during the months of August and September with their exhilarating boat races. MADURAI : 
Probably over 2500years old, is the oldest city in Tamil Nadu, its origin and emerged from the mists of the lovely legend. In a forest near a touts pond, Indra, the king of gods, worshipped lord Shiva as a Swayamby Lingum. At this hallowed spot, the Pandyan monarch, kulasekhara, built a great temple by clearing the forest, he created a lotus shaped around the temple.

MYSORE :  140Kms from Bangalore, the city of mysore was once the capital of the Wodeyars and is still retains its individuality. Beautiful places, Chamundi Hills,  Brindavan Garden etc. attract thousands of visitors.
